1. How does the process work?

We need to receive the document to be able to review it and send you a free quote. You can send your document to us via e-mail, fax or online. We will send you a quote and wait for your written approval so we can proceed with the translation.

2. What is the price for the translation?

Each project is priced individually and is based on several factors such as length, terminology, and turnaround time.

3. Do I need to submit the original document?

We do not need the original document to perform the translation. As long as the copy you sent us via e-mail or via fax is readable and clear, we can work from that copy.

4. Do I need to come to the office?

There is no need to come to our office. In fact, we do not accept “walk-ins.”

5. How do I receive the translation?

The documents are sent back to you via e-mail or regular USPS mail, including the Certification.

6. What is the turnaround time for the translation?

The turnaround time depends on the length and terminology of the document. Usually, it will take approximately 2 to 3 days from the time you place your order.

7. Can I get the translation done faster?

Yes, there is an additional Rush-Fee for expedited service. This service is available for select translations. Please contact us for more information.

8. How do I pay for the translation?

All fees are due in full at the time you order the translation and before we start translation work. You will receive a PayPal invoice via e-mail when you order the translation. We accept payments and credit cards via PayPal.

9. Do I need to get the translation certified?

Usually translations of personal documents need to be certified. However, it is advisable for you to contact the organization that you are submitting the translation to and ask them about their specific requirements.

10. What is a Certification?

MendWord Translations submits a Certification & Affidavit certifying that the translation was done accurately by a professional and experienced translator.
